You can purchase shares by following these steps:
1. Download the Share Application Form and
Guidance Notes
2. Read the guidance notes
3. Complete the Share Application Form using capitals and black ink filling in both sides of the application form
4. a) If paying by bank electronic transfer/BACS check the following:

Send the completed share application form to:

Share Offer
This is an opportunity to buy shares in LiveWire Community Energy Limited. The funds raised will be used to pay for the installation of solar panels on various buildings. Income from the Feed in Tariff and the sale of the electricity will be used to:
- Pay annual interest on the shares purchased (Please note we will not be paying any interest in the first 12 months).
- Make contributions to a community benefit fund.
- Enable us to install solar panels which should provide an income to pay you annual interest on the share purchased after the first 12 months.
- You may be entitled to tax relief on your investment under the SEED Enterprise Investment Scheme.
- Gain an equal vote with every other member in how the Society is managed.
- Help support the local community through a Community Benefit Fund.
- Help to fight climate change.
- Bank transfer for the full value for the shares applied for and complete the Share Application Form (Guidance Notes).
- Print off the Share Application Form (Guidance Notes) and send this to us with a cheque.

The Project
LiveWire Community Energy (LWCE) aims to install solar panels on a number of buildings. The share offer is for £142,000 .
LWCE will then be able to receive income from the government’s Feed in Tariff and the electricity generated which after running costs will be used to provide annual interest payments of 4% to members and a contribution to a Community Benefit Fund.

The Offer
The Share Offer Document explains the opportunity to buy shares in LiveWire Community Energy Limited. We are a Community Benefit Society which reinvests any surplus to the local community as well as aiming to provide a financial return to you and other members of the Society.
This share offer invites you to purchase shares to help us raise the money to install the solar panels. Each share is worth £1 and you have to purchase a minimum of 250 and a maximum of 100,000. The first £150,000 of shares should be eligible for tax relief under the SEED Enterprise Investment Scheme (although this cannot be guaranteed).
If the fundraising target is not achieved Warrington Borough Council will provide an investment loan to enable the project to proceed. This investment loan by the Council will provide income to repay the loan and also provide an additional financial return.
Tax Relief
If you are a UK taxpayer the shares you buy from LiveWire Community Energy may be eligible for SEED Enterprise Investment Scheme or Enterprise Investment Scheme tax relief. This one off tax relief effectively reduces the cost of the shares you buy by reducing your income tax bill by upto 50%. There are more details on our tax relief page.
